Frequently asked questions

The questions that come up before a first call, answered here so the call can be about the project.

Working together

Who owns the code?

The client does, from the first commit. Repositories, design files, infrastructure accounts and credentials are created in the client's name or transferred to them. There is no licence to renew and nothing stops working if the relationship ends.

Which languages can a project run in?

English, French, Romanian and Arabic. Briefs, proposals and documentation are written in the language the client chooses. Products with right-to-left interfaces are built that way from the start rather than adapted afterwards.

How does remote collaboration work?

A weekly demo on the calendar, a staging build every week, and written answers within one business day. NextWR works from Bucharest on Eastern European Time, which overlaps a full working day with western Europe and most of the Gulf.

Can NextWR engineers work inside our team?

Yes. That arrangement means using the client's repositories, review process and tools, and the weekly rhythm becomes theirs rather than ours.

Scope, money and contracts

How is a price decided?

From the brief. Once the problem and the constraints are written down, the work is estimated in engineering days and turned into either a fixed price for a fixed scope or a monthly number of reserved days. Milestones and the out-of-scope list are visible before anything is signed.

Are rates published?

Not on this page. They depend on the shape of the engagement, the length of the commitment and how much of the work NextWR carries end to end. Ask in a first message and the reply contains a number.

Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement?

Yes, before the first detailed conversation if that is preferred.

What happens if the scope changes?

It goes in writing, with the cost and the effect on the milestones, before any of it is built. Scope changes are normal. Silent scope changes are what damage a project.

Delivery and afterwards

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope, and the brief is what makes that answerable. What is fixed is the rhythm: a working staging build every week from the first week, so the pace can be seen rather than taken on trust.

What is included in testing?

Automated tests appropriate to the project, accessibility checks against WCAG 2.2 AA, and a staging environment. They are part of the scope rather than a line item, because a change nobody can verify is not finished.

What happens after launch?

A handover pack and a session with the client's team. A retainer is optional, cancellable with thirty days' notice, and comes with a monthly note describing what changed.

What happens after the contact form is sent?

A written reply within one business day, with either questions or a suggested time for a call. If the project is not one NextWR should take, that first reply says so and suggests what to look for instead.

Tell us what you are building.

Write in English, French, Romanian or Arabic. Every message gets a written answer within one business day.
